I am here sharing my personal experience with this app. I had heard about this app already but was not much familiar with its working.
On my recent trip with my family, I had used this app first time for travelling purpose. I really found this interesting and helpful. Its Standard charges are also not that much high. Basically its an App made for solving travel issues. It had a quick service and reach at your place within 2 minutes.
I found it quiet impressive which creates a curoisity in me to know more about this app and its working.
So here I begin,
Ola, is an Indian online transportation network company. It started as an online cab aggregator in Mumbai, now based out in Bangalore. It was founded on 3 December 2010 by Bhavish Aggarwal (currently CEO) and Ankit Bhati. By 2014, the company has expanded to a network of more than 200,000 cars across 85 cities. In November 2014, Ola expanded to incorporate autos on-trial basis in Bangalore. Post the trial phase, Ola Auto expanded to other cities like Delhi, Pune and Chennai starting December 2014. In December 2015, Ola expanded it’s auto services in Chandigarh, Indore & Jaipur.
It provides different type of cab services.This cab service supports both cash and cashless payment options with Ola money.
The company also engaged in multiple partnerships to strengthen its business
- Strategic partnership with China’s Didi Kuaidi, US-based Lyft and Malaysia’s GrabTaxi, which will allow passengers to book rides on any of these services using just one app.
- Partnership with customer-based chat services company, Haptik, which will allow users to book Ola cabs through instant messaging on the Haptik mobile app.
- Partnership with MapMyIndia
We can earn coupons for a free drive by sharing this app more and more with others. Cab facility is wonderful. Its such a useful app and moreover secure also as the driver personal details like name, phone number had reached you before the ride. Also, drivers are hired after full checking of all the documents.
Its rates increases only at that time when customers demand increases. Basically, its increased so that maximum no. of cabs can be available for us and we got to know about the current rate before confirming the ride.
Interesting part is we got to have a ride in different cars :p
Moreover, there is always an unopened mineral water bottle present in the cab in case we need it.
I am not publicizing this app here. I just personally felt this app of much use and sharing my experience here.
